As known as the world famous fast-food brand, McDonald’s launched the McCafé mooncake for the purpose of diversifying products in the Vietnam market.
In this project, our challenge was getting over the well-known red & yellow McDonald’s identity but still can show up the active and happy spirit of the brand. Digging deeply into traditional culture, we created the McCafé mooncake packaging 2018 which combines modern design with traditional material and elements.
On the outer box, we simulated significant activities of the traditional full moon season: lion dancing and children playing around with lovely lanterns, by the natural and friendly illustration. Therefore, generate peaceful and happy feelings for customers which bring them back to their childhood memories.
The convenient packaging structure includes 4 small golden-printed boxes inside. McCafe’s logo was hot gold foil and embossed in the top of the box to create an elegant look to the product.
